Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or BJJ, is a grappling style derived from Judo. The concentration in BJJ is working on positions of dominance and submission holds while on the ground. However, since all matches start standing we also add in elements from wrestling and Judo. We will cover the traditional form where both partners are wearing a uniform, known in BJJ as a gi as well as without it.

The National Sport of Thailand, Muay Thai is a striking art similar to boxing or kickboxing. Our kids program is taught in the competitive sport aspect, but we as a striking art Muay Thai lends itself well to self defense and anti-bullying. While competition is more difficult to find for Youth for Muay Thai, any Youth Muay Thai student who is showing control and a strong ability to defend themselves may also be invited to attend the Muay Thai Sparring class on Saturdays.
