Youth and Adult Assistant BJJ coach Jeff O’Neill

Jeff O’Neill, recently retired Marine, is an Assistant Youth and Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach with Yamasaki Academy of Woodbridge. He began his BJJ training at San Diego Fight Club, under Charlie Kohler. He received his blue belt from Clint Crabtree (Grand Rapids BJJ) in 2009, and his purple belt in 2011 from Joe Cunningham (Yamasaki Woodbridge). While stationed in Okinawa, Japan, Jeff received his brown belt in 2015 from Ivan Sakamoto (BJJ Okinawa, Fredson Paixao).

Jeff competed in and won numerous BJJp 0 and No Gi tournaments in Nevada, Michigan, Virginia, and Japan. His overall record is 25 – 7.  Coach Jeff helps out as the assistant Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach.
